Restaurants near the Budget Inn and Suites
The Budget Inn and Suites is near some of St. George's top restaurants. Here are a couple of our favorites within walking distance of the hotel:
Pier 49 Pizza
If you haven't tried sourdough pizza yet, you are in for a treat. As they say at the shop, "if it ain't sourdough, spit it out!" All their pizza come loaded with top quality cheese, sauces, veggies and meats. Two of our favorites are the 49er - completely loaded with thin crisp pepperoni; and the Lombard Street BBQ Chicken with three cheeses. For a change of pace, try the Tourist Special with six cheeses on a spinach alfredo sauce. Yum! Just across the street at 1066 S. Bluff Street. Delivery available at 656-1745.
Claim Jumper Steakhouse
This is not the same Claim Jumper restaurant chain you may have seen in California or Arizona. The Utah Claim Jumper is an open-fire steakhouse that features Utah Buffalo, trout, baby-back ribs and incredible prime rib. Come hungry and plan on bringing a doggie-bag back to the room. The restaurant is just across the street at 1110 S. Bluff St. Give them a call at 674-7800.
